    WOW... Carole,

What an amazing message of hope you have shared. The message you left with those children that day will be with them for many years to come.
You've no doubt touched them, but also given them a story to share one day with their own children. And come to think of it Carole, even the adults, teachers who were there with the high schoolers no doubt benefited from hearing your story.

I'm hitting the submit button and then adding your site to my Google homepage.

Thank you for writing such a wonderful article Ben, it really is the nicest one I've read so far. However, Ben is in first grade, and lives in Illinois.

Great article, Carole. Very valid observations. I know many people whose lives are both out of balance and integrated. I think that we might all be guilty of that from time to time, esp. in the age of the "Crackberry," as my colleagues and I call our Blackberries. I blame the fact that we are never disconnected any more.

You really hit the nail on head.

There is an overall trend of people turning to alternative health care providers over MDs. I think it was 1994 or 1995 where over 50% of the US went to alternative health care providers instead of MDs.

That number has increased because people want to be in control of their health.

MDs are not gods, and I think people are starting to realize it.

Once again you've captured the essence of our true selves. We can all take a lesson from Ruth and live our lives creating and enjoying what we have accomplished.
